Michigan CoP

This is the second in a series of presentations to help kick off your lean journey or enhance your current knowledge. 5S or Visual Management is the use of techniques that will enable a person to immediately recognize normal and abnormal states in a process. This technique helps an organization examine the workplace and identify irregularities for easy elimination of waste and improving safety.  We will create awareness of the principles behind the 5S’s and identify the impact that the 5S’s can have on improving efficiencies and promoting safe working environments.

Basic Agenda for each session:

  • Intro MI CoP (The session will be open starting at 10:50 am to handle any tech difficulties and introductions)
  • Request participants to enter their Name, Company, & Lean Experience in the Chatbox
  • Content with Discussion
  • Call to Action
  • Note Future Sessions
  • Plus/Delta (the presenter will remain after the time allotted to ensure all questions are answered)

The following presentations in the series will be sent out as separate invitations.

  •  Last Planner
  • PPMOF - Prefabrication, Preassembly, Modularization, and Off-Site Fabrication
  •  Big Room/Target Value Delivery
  •  A3 Thinking
