Better conversations lead to better culture - Join us for an interactive event focusing on one of Lean’s Core Values – Respect for People. The word “respect” in the context of Lean has a very definitive meaning: Engage and empower the people closest to the work so that they can assess the current condition, create solutions to problems and standardize what’s working.
Recent events have shed light on a dire need to address diversity, equity, and inclusion in the architecture, engineering and construction professions. Join us as we explore the convergence of Lean Methodology and DEI. We have enlisted a group of local industry experts and guest collaborators to help facilitate this much needed conversation.
A Lean Coffee is designed to break down barriers between participants, encourages input from everyone present, and all topics are generated and managed by the participants. No previous Lean experience is required. A Lean Coffee is a free space for people to explore issues and concerns they don’t otherwise get to discuss. This Free space gives people a chance to try out collaborative behaviors, exercise leadership, get help, give help and grow professionally. This is going to be an interactive session and joining from your mobile device may be frustrating. For that reason, we are asking that all attendees join from a laptop or desktop computer. We also ask that everyone turnyourcameraon! It will enrich the experience for all participants.
Attendance is free of charge. Please pre-register.
