Advocate Aurora Health followed an Integrated Lean Project Delivery approach for a clinic renovations project at their Sinai campus in downtown Milwaukee, which serves as the case study for this presentation. The team will provide an overview of Lean Project Delivery, covering origins in manufacturing and establishing the business case for current use in healthcare planning and construction. The ABCs will be covered – terminology, processes, tools, and team structure. In addition, the case study takes a deeper dive into the value of coaching and a healthy team culture in maximizing project value. Attendees will gain an understanding of how to apply this knowledge and this culture “day one,” even outside the Lean Project Delivery framework. In the spirit of continuous improvement, the team will conclude by addressing things that worked well and those that could have worked better, and offer vision for a flexible future of Lean Project Delivery within the industry.
