This course will introduce the What, Why, and How of conducting Gemba Walks for the purpose of improving the value being produced by workers and creating safer working environments. Leaders and workers will understand their roles in ensuring successful Gemba Walks. It will be an interactive training in which participants will engage in the different scenarios presenting Gemba Walks examples
Speakers:

  • Jorge Rincon, Lean Manager, Turner Construction - Jorge is a Lean Construction enthusiast. His determination for improving construction productivity led him to embrace a lean journey in benefit of the industry. Jorge is leading the organizational cultural change and embracement of Lean for Turner Construction in Colorado.
  • Jesse Hernandez, Regional Lean Manager, Turner Construction  - Jesse is a plumber by trade, podcaster by night, and an aspiring CI coach. He entered the construction industry straight out of high school and his path has covered the digging of ditches all the way to aiding people in expanding their influence within their careers and communities. Because of this Jesse is driven to inform educators, parents, and students about the amazing career opportunities in the trades.
