Both organizations are partnering to donate all proceeds from this event to unCommon Construction (https://uncommonconstruction.org/), a 501c3 that provides local high-school students with paid apprenticeships building houses as a way to teach life skills and construction skills, while also providing equity award scholarships from the revenue from built projects.

Jeremy Atkinson, Project Manager - Landis Construction
Jeremy Atkinson is a Project Manager and Lean Coach/Facilitator at Landis Construction. Jeremy’s career in Civilian Construction spans 10+ years, including management and safety roles for a multitude of Civil and Commercial construction projects. Prior to entering civilian construction, Jeremy honed his leadership and management skills as an AIRBORNE US Army Combat Engineer SAPPER in the rank of Captain with combat deployments to Iraq in support of Task Force Raptor (1SFG) and Task Force Gold (6th CAV/4th ID). Jeremy is a volunteer organizer for the LCI New Orleans Community of Practice, whose mission is to expand local Lean learning and adoption. Jeremy has extensive training and experience implementing the Lean Last Planner System® and CPM scheduling.
Norbert Lathan, CSHO, CHST - Gulf Coast Regional Director ESC Safety Consultants
Norbert is the 2020 ABC Bayou Chapter Safety Chair and a 10 year safety veteran. Nathan is currently responsible for managing twelve of ESC’s safety consultants covering Houston and the states of Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia. Norbert is heavily involved in assisting builders and trade partners with developing safety programs for a wide range of projects in the Civil and Commercial sectors.
