LCI Lean Learning Series - Last Planner System® (Northern Ohio CoP)

This topic introduces the Last Planner System^® (LPS^®) 5 levels and connected conversations.

Participants will learn the benefits and key concept of LPS, definition of Last Planner, push versus pull methodology. Learning will include examples of LPS being implemented.

The LCI Lean Learning Series is a facilitated discussion-oriented event focused on a specific Lean subject matter.The event is more structured than a Lean Coffee yet shorter and less structured than a LCI education course.Its purpose is to provide just enough knowledge base to kick start an engaging Lean discussion amongst the participants.

Facilitators: 

• Bryan Wahl, Bostwick Design Partnership - Bryan brings an advanced understanding of the application of Lean methods to the design process and is recognized as   a national leader in Lean Project Delivery. He applies 22 years of experience in project management to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with high quality. 
• Joe Schilens, Turner Construction - Joe has over 20 years of experience with Turner Construction.  As a Superintendent, Joe has led multiple teams through the use of the Last Planner System^® achieving predictable and timely project deadlines.
