Raymond Lota of Kaiser Permanente will lead you through his personal Lean journey as a General Contractor at the Universal Health Services Henderson Hospital, delivered as a pure Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) with high Lean intensity, and later as an Owner at Kaiser Permanente. He will leave you with tips on how to start or sustain the Lean culture and use of tools on your projects or organization.
Greg Stedman joined the Carpenters union in 1977 and has worked in commercial construction throughout his career. Greg started at KHS&S in 2001 as General Superintendent and served as Operations Manager and Regional VP of the Anaheim office. The last 8 years, Greg spearheaded KHS&S’ Lean development as Director, Lean. Greg`s 42 years in construction and knowledge of field and office made it a perfect fit. Greg also served on LCI’s Education Committee and Executive Board.
Rob Walter has over 25 years of varied experiences in both design and construction roles from early days of AutoCAD adoption in architectural firms, through every major engineering discipline, construction administration, construction project management, estimating & design-build management. Provides vision, guidance and oversight for corporate-wide Design-Assist efforts, Lean, BIM and IPD.
Raymond Lota is the Director of Construction Management at Kaiser Permanente. He is responsible for providing construction oversight and support to all major projects with externally sourced general contractors in Southern California. He has been successful in developing the Lean culture on all major projects for KP in Southern California. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and has over 20 years of both architectural design and general contracting
