This topic introduces the Last Planner System™ (LPS™)'s 5 levels and connected conversations.
Participants will learn the benefits and key concepts of LPS™, the definition of Last Planner®, push vs. pull methodology. Learning will include examples of LPS™ being implemented.
The LCI Lean Learning Series is a facilitated discussion-oriented event focused on a specific Lean subject matter. The event is more structured than a Lean Coffee yet shorter and less structured than an LCI education course. Its purpose is to provide just enough knowledge base to kick start an engaging Lean discussion amongst the participants.
Alessandra Escalante is an Assistant Project Manager for the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company with 4.5 years of experience in the construction industry. She has been heavily involved with the Last Planner System on several projects and is the Social Media Chair for LCI South Florida CoP.
Darwin Cantero is currently an Assistant Project Manager for the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company with 4.5 years of experience in the construction industry. Darwin was added into WT’s Lean in Action group in 2018 and has attended several LCI events, most notably the 2018 LCI Congress. Darwin has been involved in the pull planning efforts at the Modernization Project in Terminal 3 of FLL.
