Learning to See The 8 Wastes (Ohio Valley CoP)

Participants will “Learn to See Waste” by exploring each of the 8 wastes definitions along with examples and practical discussion.  Learning will include a before and after waste walk video example.

Speakers:

• Fred Miller Field Aerospace - Fred's industry experience includes Sara Lee, Oracle, Intelligrated, Honeywell, and Field Aerospace. He held positions in engineering, operations, consulting, IT, quality and lean. Fred implemented Field's first Business Process Improvement program and is leading execution of the lean enterprise roadmap for engineering design, program management and modification operations. Currently building lean culture and mindset through the application of daily management, A3 problem solving, kaizen events.
• Julie Dolan, SSOE Group - Julie is an Account Executive for SSOE Group bent on translating client needs into Lean project delivery success stories. Her Lean journey began in 2017 with a like-minded owner also seeking to transform the built environment. She is a member of the LCI OVC Core Team, the SSOE LPD core team, and also serves on a number of non-profit boards advocating for social justice for some of society's most vulnerable populations.
