From simple ideas for saving time, effort, and money, to entirely new ways of doing business, front-line employees see a great many opportunities in their day-to-day work that their managers don't. Companies that can take advantage of the virtually free, perpetually renewable resource of employee ideas, gain significant advantage over their competitors. So why is it that so many companies and projects fail to harvest ideas, instead settling for lessons learned (ugh). This webinar will share more than a dozen type of idea systems, show how they differ (radically) from a suggestion box, and can be a great starting point to propelling problem-solving capability. Participants will learn how to get scores of ideas per employee, and achieve up to a staggering 85% implementation rate.  Idea Systems epitomize Lean: respect for people and giving the work back to those closest to it. Nick Masci and Sue Boyle will share examples at the owner, GC, and trade partner level.

Nick and Sue have helped companies and project teams install and manage idea systems into job sites, offices, and prefab plants. Sue Boyle is the Lean Integration Leader at Haley & Aldrich where she oversees the deployment of "Lean in All We Do" at an 800-person engineering firm. Nick Masci advises companies and project teams in strategies and tactics to shift to a manufacturing footing, making them ready for onset of the Industrialized Construction megatrend.
