For all of you first-timers at LCI Congress, imagine the networking opportunities of attending the Lean design and construction community's largest annual event! As a first-time Congress attendee, you're in for a treat in Chicago with more than 20 fundamental and advanced training courses, three keynote speakers drawn from diverse professional backgrounds, and more than 50 presentations and panels highlighting Lean's potential to transform project work for the better.
"As a first time attendee, I was extremely inspired by all who are on their Lean journey at the Congress, presenters and attendees alike. There is a session for each person at every Lean experience level as well as project team role. As a Project Management consultant, I felt that more owners and architects not only need to hear about the success stories and benefits of utilizing Lean Construction, but also need to see the cultural shift that is taking place in the industry. The culture was infectiously positive at the Congress in Boston giving people practical ways to improve the quality of workflow, increase collaboration, provide cost savings and ensure that the project schedule is met…I left Congress wanting to put into action all of the value packed and tangible lessons I learned to improve the way we do construction. I'm looking forward to the next Congress in Chicago." - Brittanie Campbell-Turner Project Manager Mace
The earlier you register for Congress, the better your chances of securing a seat in your preferred courses, breakout sessions and gemba site. Friday is gemba day, so you'll be able to tour a Lean project in action and offer feedback based on first-hand observations, perhaps for the first time.
Each Congress is bigger than the last, and you can be an important part of our growth. LCI's Congress mission is to help spark or enhance the Lean journey of our attendees, build the Lean skills set of people in design and construction, and ultimately transform the industry into one that never stops improving.
Remember, Congress seats are limited so sign up now! We hope to see you at LCI Congress this year.
