LCI Target Value Delivery Module 1: Learning the Fundamentals

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain Target Value Delivery (TVD), its principles, and the goals it aims to achieve.
  • Outline the four phases of TVD, including key actions, deliverables, and objectives for each phase.
  • Recognize essential Core Components of TVD and their roles in driving project value.
  • Demonstrate how TVD practices improve project outcomes by fostering collaboration, enhancing predictability, and reducing waste.

This course is registered with AIA CES for 4 LU credits.


Speakers:

Mike Williams, Stantec
Michael is a Principal and Senior Healthcare Planner in Stantec's Phoenix office. He has dedicated his 30 years in the profession entirely to Healthcare planning and design. Mike’s Lean journey started in the mid 90’s when he began to apply process planning and VSM to the operational design integration of healthcare functions into building designs. 
In addition to applying Lean principles to the design process Michael has led large scale ILPD and IPD-Lite projects throughout the Western US. He is also a core group member for the Seek Change sponsored series of Improving Capital Projects Symposiums held in Phoenix.

Justin Wise, Stantec
Justin is a healthcare principal at Stantec with a focus on integrated project delivery (IPD) and a dedication to Lean principles. He has over 20 years of experience as a project manager and architect and has primarily focused on healthcare design and delivery. Justin is passionate about the important role that culture plays in successfully delivering projects.
