Awards
LCI has three awards that are presented at the annual LCI Congress event in October. These awards constitute an essential aspect of LCI programs, recognizing the accomplishments of individuals in the Lean environment who have provided extraordinary service on behalf of LCI and/or the industry as a whole.

Pioneer Award
The LCI Pioneer Award recognizes individuals who have moved the design and construction industry forward in embracing and implementing Lean tools and techniques.

Chairman's Award
The LCI Chairman’s Award recognizes individuals who have moved the Lean Construction Institute forward in meeting its mission of transforming the design and construction industry. The awards are given out during LCI’s Annual Congress where awardees are recognized by the Lean Design and Construction community.

Design Award - A Team Award
The LCI Design Award recognizes project teams that are delivering outstanding design while advancing the industry through collaborative Lean Project Delivery. The purpose of this award is to encourage the adoption of Lean approaches and methods to improve project outcome and elevate design.

Hanson Bridgett
Howard, Lisa and the Hanson Bridgett IPD team have structured over 140 pure IPD projects—most of which also used Lean methodologies. Through this work they developed the theoretical and practical underpinning for Integrated Project Delivery.

Douglas Lee
Brasfield & Gorrie
Beginning his Lean journey 15 years ago, Douglas is known as a ‘Big L’ in the Lean community. He works with team members to implement collaborative strategies around budget/schedule and jumpstarted the Lean transformation at Brasfield & Gorrie.
