Our Mission

The LCI Houston CoP is a diverse group of Designers, Owners, and Contractors dedicated to Lean Practices and Principles. Our goal is to provide collaborative and educational events to facilitate the growth of the Lean community.

Tuesday, September 15 - Learning Event - Part 1 Prefab (Hybrid) - Construction presentation & production shop tour from Marek Brothers
Friday, October 2 - Breakfast of Champions (Virtual) - Video clips from the authors of Move Fast & Fix Things will kick off a chat about how to accelerate excellence, solve hard problems, and build trust
Thursday, October 22 - Gemba Walk (In-Person) - Explore a Rice University site to observe Lean Practices in Action with members of the Clark Construction project team
Tuesday, November 17 - Learning Event - Part 2 Gemba Walk (In-Person) - Visit the GRB Expansion to observe prefab components installed on site with members of the Marek Brothers project team
