Successful Target Value Processes

This session presents a research based Target Value System (TVS) that brings structure, consistency, and reliability to Target Value implementation across IPD and non IPD projects. Drawing from three ongoing case studies, attendees will understand how target value maturity directly shaped outcomes - from cost performance, schedule reliability, sustainability gains, and team interactions.  Participants will leave with practical, evidence backed steps, a maturity assessment tool, and clear strategies for improving target value practices including value definition, decision flow, team alignment, and learning, to deliver more predictable, higher value project results from early design into construction execution.

Lorine Ouma, PhD, Project Engineer - Butz Family of Companies
Dr. Robert Leicht, Professor of Architectural Engineering - Penn State University College of Engineering
Emily Lowe, Director of Lean - Butz Family of Companies
