Make Better Project Decisions With Choosing by Advantages

Project decisions rarely happen with perfect information or one clear point of view. Teams are often weighing different priorities, incomplete information, and competing perspectives. Without a sound decision-making process, conversations can turn into debates over preferences or decisions can be revisited when new information surfaces.

That can create rework, unbillable hours, higher costs, schedule delays, and frustration across the project team. Over time, repeated decision churn can also weaken trust among the people responsible for delivering the work.

Choosing by Advantages (CBA) provides a structured way to make decisions by focusing on the importance of real advantages rather than simply comparing preferences.

During LCI’s four-week virtual Choosing by Advantages training, October 23–November 13, participants will learn that:

CBA is a way of thinking, not a form to fill out. You’ll learn principles that can be applied beyond a single spreadsheet or workshop.
Not every decision requires the Tabular Method. You’ll explore several CBA methods and learn how to match the method to the complexity of the decision.
You’ll practice, not just listen. The course uses a Learn, Unlearn, Relearn, and Apply approach, with examples, collaboration, and application throughout the four weeks.

LCI Communities of Practice: Vast Network, One Shared Goal

You Know Lean. Can You Prove It?

There’s a difference between learning Lean and demonstrating that you can apply it on a project.

LCI Certification is designed for experienced Lean practitioners who have already been doing the work. Candidates must demonstrate at least three years of applied Lean experience.

The LCI-CPC and LCI-CPD are not course-completion certificates. They provide independent verification that you can put Lean principles into practice, improve project delivery, and lead teams through real-world challenges.
