Make the Most of Networking at LCI Congress

LCI Congress brings together Lean practitioners from across the industry — but how do you turn those conversations into meaningful connections?

Long-time Congress attendees and 2026 speakers Felipe Engineer-Manriquez and Linsey Schoene share practical tips for building your network, starting conversations, and learning from others throughout Congress week, this October 12–16 in Atlanta!

Four Weeks to Build a Better Decision-Making Process

Choosing by Advantages is not one spreadsheet or one decision-making exercise. It is a structured way to think through choices, distinguish meaningful advantages, and select the right method for the decision in front of you.

LCI’s four-week virtual Choosing by Advantages cohort, October 30–November 20, takes participants through the process step by step:

  • Week 1: Foundations of Sound Decision-Making
Examine common decision-making habits, learn core CBA terminology, and begin distinguishing factors, attributes, and advantages.
  • Week 2: Choosing the Right Method
Explore simpler CBA methods, learn how to establish importance, and match the method to the complexity of the decision.
  • Week 3: Building a Collaborative Decision
Practice the Tabular Method by identifying alternatives, factors, criteria, attributes, advantages, and importance with other participants.
  • Week 4: Making the Decision With Cost in View
Learn how CBA treats cost differently from traditional weighted decision matrices and evaluate cost alongside the importance of advantages.

This is a working cohort, not four weeks of passive webinars. Participants will work through examples, practice with peers, bring a real decision from their own work into the course, and apply what they learn between sessions.

The virtual cohort begins October 23.

Member Connections:
Learn Alongside Your Peers This Fall

Some of the most useful conversations in Lean happen peer to peer. That’s the idea behind these sessions. In the Member to Member webinars, a peer walks you through what worked, what didn’t, and what they’d do differently. Lean Coffee gives you an open table with people in roles like yours: owners, practitioners, and corporate members. You set the agenda and talk through what’s on your mind. If you’re new to LCI, or bringing a colleague along, Build Better: Member Connect is an easy way to get your bearings and meet a few people. Come to one, or come to several. Either way, you’ll leave with ideas and connections you can use.

All sessions below are virtual and complimentary for members to attend — no cost, no travel, just a login link and a chance to connect, compare notes, and keep your Lean momentum going.

Member to Member Webinars

These sessions are peer-led: a fellow member sharing what they’ve learned the hard way, in their own words, so you can benefit from their experience.
