Lean Happy Hour / Retrospective / 2027 Events Planning

Arizona Community of Practice
Nov 18-18, 2026

Join us for a Lean Happy Hour as we close out 2026 and look ahead to 2027 with LCI Arizona! This session is a chance to reflect on the past year together and help shape the events our Lean community will host next year. Take part in an open conversation in a safe, small, and low-pressure environment. We want to hear what worked for you in 2026, the problems you are facing, the issues you want to solve, and the lessons you’ve learned on your Lean journey. We also want your ideas for 2027 events, including the topics, formats, and speakers you would like to see. No previous Lean experience is required.

Participants from cross functional roles such as designers, contractors, owners, and trade partners propose discussion topics around any subject they want to learn about. We especially encourage topics that look back at 2026 or help plan for 2027, but THERE ARE STILL NO IRRELEVANT DISCUSSION TOPICS! Each proposer takes 15 to 30 seconds to pitch their topic, written on a sticky note, to the group. Once all topics have been pitched, voting begins to set the order of discussion. Topics are ordered from highest to lowest votes and discussed in that order. Each topic receives 5 minutes of discussion. After 5 minutes, the group gives a thumbs up or thumbs down to decide whether the discussion should continue. A thumbs up adds 2 more minutes to the clock. This repeats until the group agrees the topic has been discussed to satisfaction. Takeaways are captured, and then the topic with the next highest number of votes is addressed. Come as you are, bring your ideas for 2027, and be ready to learn!

We want your input on how we can improve the events for 2027, so bring your ideas with you. We would love to hear them.

Parking is available onsite.

BBQ (Little Miss BBQ) & Drinks will be provided.

We will have some books to giveaway on the night, for your reading pleasure.

Thank you to our 2026 Sustaining Sponsors!
