Lean in Construction
The LCI Georgia Community of Practice, in partnership with Kennesaw State University’s SWE & IISE chapters, invites construction professionals to join us for an evening focused on Lean Construction, continuous improvement, and developing the next generation of industry leaders.
Lean Construction is about more than tools and processes. It is a way of thinking that brings people together to improve how we plan, coordinate, and deliver projects while creating greater value for our teams, clients, and communities.
This event provides an opportunity for LCI Georgia CoP members and industry professionals to share perspectives with KSU students and demonstrate how Lean principles are being applied in the construction industry. We will explore how professionals from a variety of technical and academic backgrounds can contribute to construction and help drive innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The evening will feature a brief introduction to Lean Construction, an interactive activity, and time for industry professionals to connect with students, fellow practitioners, and members of the LCI Georgia community.
Whether you are an experienced Lean practitioner or simply interested in learning more about Lean Construction and connecting with others who are passionate about improving our industry, we invite you to join the conversation and help shape the future of construction.
