This session provides a basic introduction to TVD, exploring how this innovative approach redefines traditional project delivery methods. We’ll cover the core principles of TVD and its alignment with Lean design & construction practices. Participants will learn about the key phases and components of TVD, and set-based design practices, all aimed at maximizing return on investment and improving project outcomes.

Julie Glassmeyer is the Owner of Glassmeyer Construction Consulting & Coaching, LLC. For the past 21 years, Glassmeyer has been employing, facilitating, and coaching Lean Design & Construction principles. She draws on her 30 years of experience in commercial construction planning and management to support project teams in achieving successful Lean implementation and is the author of Your Guide to Lean Design & Construction. Glassmeyer holds a BS in Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Cincinnati State and UC.
