Santa’s Kaizen Workshop: Is your Safety Culture on the Naughty or Nice List? (New York State CoP)
Come join the New York State Lean Construction Institute Community of Practice for a fun filled night of networking and learning. We will begin the evening by networking with drinks (cash bar) and appetizers (provided) follow by a presentation that was featured at the LCI National Congress in October of 2022. Following the presentation there will be a cash bar mixer for all attendees to continue networking. This event is limited to the first 75 people to sign up. Don’t wait around to register or you will miss out on the opportunity to spend this holiday evening networking and learning with your fellow NY State Lean Construction Practitioners!
Santa’s Kaizen Workshop: Is your Safety Culture on the Naughty or Nice List?
Planning a Kaizen event is no ride in a one-horse open sleigh. In 2021, we were inspired to improve our program safety culture and we needed to engage our Senior Leadership Team. The opportunity to improve was staring us in the face and this is how we responded using the PDCA Cycle to put our Safety Culture on the Nice List.
- PLAN: PRIME Your Audience, PREPARE and PRESENT Expectations
- DO: KAIZEN! DRAW in Key Leadership, DEFINE: Future & Current State, DECLARE Commitment
- CHECK: CAPTIVATE Leaders, COLLECT Feedback, CONNECT with Immediate Recognition
- ACT: APPLAUD & ADJUST
