Congress Learning Day Spotlight: Building Trusting Teams, Led by Keynote Speaker Rich Diviney
Rich Diviney, retired Navy SEAL Commander and bestselling author of The Attributes, leads this interactive Learning Day workshop on the elements that separate remarkable teams from everyone else. Drawing on Simon Sinek’s The Infinite Game and Leaders Eat Last alongside his own research on human performance, Diviney moves past talent and competence to the four core components that build real trust on a team.

Participants will leave with practical tools to diagnose why talented teams fall short, replace resilience-only thinking with a more complete performance framework, and rebuild outdated task organization structures that limit their team’s effectiveness.
Add Learning Day (October 13) to your Congress registration to put these strategies to work on your own team.

Featured Congress Sponsorship: Frisbee Golf

Bring a playful, memorable twist to the 2026 LCI Congress Golf Tournament at Atlanta’s historic Bobby Jones Golf Club! With the Frisbee Golf Sponsorship, players swap golf balls for your branded frisbees and count each toss as a stroke.
It’s a fun, high-visibility way to engage tournament participants, showcase your brand, and create a takeaway golfers will remember.
Sponsorship includes branded frisbees with your company logo, sponsorship of Hole #2 on the Magnolia Course, and any leftover frisbees for your organization to keep.

You've Benefited from Lean. Now Help Steward It
LCI exists because leaders before you invested in something bigger than their own organizations. Now, we’re inviting future LCI board members to do the same.
LCI is currently inviting applications of interest for board members representing the design community and trade partners. We’re seeking leaders who learn from feedback, stay grounded in frontline realities, and care about the long-term health of the industry. If that’s you (or someone you know), we’d like to hear from you!

Ready to invest in the community that invested in you?
Submissions must be received by midnight EST on July 13, 2026.

A Closer Look at the Lean Marketplace Lineup

Four dates, one curated vendor showcase. Join us July 22, November 13, and November 20 from 11:00 AM to 3:45 PM ET for The Lean Marketplace, a virtual event connecting you with innovative tools, technologies, and services that support Lean project delivery. Over four days, you’ll have access to 20 short, high-impact presentations from vendors, consultants, and coaches focused on advancing Lean adoption in the built environment.
LCI corporate members can attend any of these sessions for free. This is your chance to explore what’s new, what works, and what could help take your Lean journey further!
Registration Open: Target Value Delivery Workshop
Design done, over budget – sound familiar? This is the default outcome when cost surfaces after design instead of before it. LCI’s Target Value Delivery Workshop is a six-week live training in flipping that sequence.
Participants will experience building a business case, setting Conditions of Satisfaction, and bringing partners in at the right moment, inside a virtual Big Room with a consistent cohort. 8 CEUs provided upon completion.

Fridays, 1:00–3:30 PM ET
August 21 through October 2 (no class September 4)
Registration closes August 14.
