Speakers:

Neelanjana Sen, Principal, Stantec, is focused on healthcare design and delivery. With over 20 years’ experience as an architect she is passionate about integrated delivery and implements tools for planning and process improvement into her work. Neelanjana believes that architecture gets stronger by embracing a diversity of ideas and pushing boundaries. This belief is realized with her work on IPD projects and implementing Lean principles centered around Respect for People and Human Centered Design.

 

Ryan Louie, Infrastructure Project Manager San Francisco International Airport, brings a Lean mindset to the delivery of complex capital projects. Most recently, he helped lead the successful completion of the Harvey Milk Terminal 1 Renovation. With a background in mechanical engineering, Ryan values curiosity and leverages shared learning and purposeful design as foundations for progress through collaboration and practical innovation.

 

Dan Tran, Project Executive Healthcare Core Market Leader DPR Construction,  has led several successful healthcare projects of varying sizes. Dan is passionate about Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), lean learning, and building high-performing teams. Most recently, Dan is leading a complex adaptive reuse project, converting 240,000 square feet of office space into an ambulatory surgery center in Santa Clara.

 

 

Stan Chiu, Director of IPD for HDR, Inc., brings over 30 years of experience in complex projects for clients such as Sutter Health, Samsung, UHS, the University of California and the Mayo Clinic. A leader in Lean Design and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Stan believes in the power of respect for people and continuous improvement. His projects have been recognized for design excellence including National AIA and SCUP Honor Awards. Stan has served on multiple professional and institutional boards including the Lean Construction Institute
