Paz Arroyo, PhD DPR Construction is a member of LCI NorCal and Core Group and is a Quality Leader at DPR Construction. She has construction industry experience internationally. With a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley, her expertise is in lean management, sustainable design, and collaborative decision-making. Paz has authored numerous publications, including the book Building Decisions.
Dan Tran, P.E., LEED AP - Project Executive - DPR Construction serves as a Project Executive at DPR Construction. He is also the company's Healthcare Core Market Leader. Based in San Francisco, Tran focuses on leading complex projects using Lean construction methods, including Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfMA) and Takt planning, to deliver work with speed and efficiency. He is an alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley.
Callahan Lieb - Senior Project Manager / Sutter Health is a Senior Project Manager at Sutter Health, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is experienced in construction project management, having previously worked in a general contractor in roles from Project Engineer to Project Manager. He focuses on lean construction principles, like the Last Planner System, to improve efficiency through team communication. Lieb is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Josh Cantrell - DPR Construction is a Senior Superintendent with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in Process Scheduler, Value Engineering, Contractors, Project Estimation, TAKT Production planning, and CPM Scheduling. Strong operations professional with a vast array of project experience.
Praseedha Subramanian - DPR Construction is a VDC Project Manager at DPR Construction, who emphasizes integrating sustainability into her work. Based in California, she previously worked at Tesla. As a VDC professional, she leverages her expertise in design integration and data to enhance project planning and construction. Subramanian is passionate about advancing a sustainable future within the construction industry.
Karva Tam Sykes, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB -Principal Healthcare | Associate Vice President / HGA leads the delivery of complex healthcare projects across the Bay Area. She guides multidisciplinary teams to create environments that not only meet today’s clinical and operational needs but also anticipate the future of healthcare and research. Her work is driven by collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to process improvement. Karva’s career has been built on creating healthcare environments that inspire, perform, and endure.
Ron Migliori, SE / Senior Principal - BUEHLER is a member of LCI NorCal and Core Group Member Emeritus and was the past president and current Advisory Board member for DBIA Western Pacific Region. Ron has participated in more than two dozen IPD projects and numerous design-build projects. His passion and focus over the years have been on Lean project delivery. Ron has conducted workshops, training, and facilitated on many different Lean concepts and tools.
Jessica Okada - Mechanical & Plumbing Project Manager / Southland Industries has worked for Southland for over a decade. Located in the Bay Area, she previously served as a Senior Design Engineer. Okada graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her extensive experience at Southland includes both engineering and project management roles, providing a strong foundation for managing complex mechanical and plumbing projects.
PPE requirements: Please bring your own PPE, including closed shoes, a vest, gloves, a hard hat, and glasses. Limited PPE will be available to borrow at the jobsite.
