Lean in Action: Member Retrospectives
Abstract Submission Requirements
To ensure the success of LCI’s Lean in Action: A Member Retrospective, abstracts must meet the following conditions:
Eligibility
1. Membership:
- Submitting organizations must be current LCI corporate members in good standing.
Abstract Content
2. Focus:
- Highlight a specific Lean method, tool, or practice with a focus on one impactful area or action.
3. Retrospective Framework:
- What was done: Describe the initiative.
- What worked well: Highlight successes.
- What didn’t work: Share challenges.
- Lessons learned: Summarize key takeaways.
- Advice for others: Provide your top three recommendations to others seeking to replicate your initiative.
Presentation Details
4. Duration:
- The presentation should be about 20 minutes to allow for intermittent questions at key points.
5. Value:
- Abstracts must show actionable insights and have relevance to the LCI community.

- Submit your abstract here.
7. Relevance:
- Align with Lean principles and the design and construction industry.
Evaluation
8. Selection:
- Abstracts will be judged on clarity, relevance, insights, and value.
Meeting these conditions ensures your abstract is considered for this engaging and impactful retrospective event. All submissions will be acknowledged. If your submission is selected for a presentation, LCI will work with you on the date and time. Presentations will be conducted via ZOOM and LCI will provide technical facilitation for the event.
