Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the essential foundational principles of each of the five connected conversations of the Last Planner System®.
  • Engage in the connected conversations of LPS®, from Milestone Planning to daily interaction, through hands-on practical application.
  • Experience the process of constraint management and understand how it improves project workflow.
    Gain practical insight into how Percent Plan Complete and variance tracking can be used to improve reliable project plan execution.
  • Recognize how reliable commitments, continuous learning, and workflow transparency support more predictable project outcomes.
  • Explore practical and advanced workflow examples based on attendee needs, project conditions, and common implementation challenges.

 

Instructors:

Glen Sullivan, McCarthy
As a licensed Architect Sully has brought his experience on design of Hospital work to his VDC role. Using his understanding of the design processes to help to bridge between the design team and the construction team. With this knowledge he has enhanced the coordination process by working collaboratively with the design team to resolve issues.

 

Juan Restrepo, The Boldt Company
As a Project Executive for The Boldt Company, Juan works at a high level to help develop and implement the organization’s strategic planning. Monitors the progress of the organization’s various projects and is responsible for evaluating the project team and staff. Juan is also the Treasurer of the NorCal LCI Community of Practice (CoP) and has been serving the Core Group for 5+ years.


Felipe Engineer-Manriquez,  The Boldt Company
A best-selling author and keynote speaker, Felipe Engineer-Manriquez is the Project Delivery Services Director at The Boldt Company and host of The EBFC Show podcast. Renowned for driving change in construction with Lean and Agile practices, he simplifies work processes significantly. As a Registered Scrum Trainer™ and Lean Construction Institute Chairman’s Award recipient, Felipe leads through coaching, social media, and his book, 'Construction Scrum.' 


Victor R Ortiz, Lean Consultant, is a founding member of the Lean Construction Institute. Vic is a member of the NorCal LCI Community of Practice leadership Team, focused on collaborative leadership. Vic participated in the early development of LPS and has been an LPS® and IPD Coach to projects around the world.
