Explore LCI’s New Learning Pathway!
Whether you’re just starting out or deepening your expertise, LCI’s new and expanded learning platform will simplify your Lean learning process. This remodeled and reimagined pathway offers valuable insights for every stage of your Lean journey.
Through conversations with dozens of industry experts, we recognized a key challenge: the needs of someone new to Lean differ significantly from those of a Lean coach or an LCI-CPC or LCI-CPD certified practitioner. Likewise, people looking to apply Lean principles at an individual level require different resources than those driving organizational transformation.
To address these diverse needs, we’ve developed LCI’s new Lean learning platform—your go-to resource for tailored Lean education.
Understanding Your Learning Needs
When you visit the new learning page, you’ll have the option to identify your learning needs based on how you need to implement Lean.
Individual-Level Lean Implementation
For individuals looking to expand their Lean knowledge, we’ve created a powerful resource to guide your learning journey.
The Lean Learning Pathway breaks down your level of Lean knowledge into four distinct stages: Lean Learner, Lean Apprentice, Lean Practitioner, and Advanced Practitioner, with LCI Certification positioned between the last two.
On the learning page, you’ll find a color-coded map with corresponding buttons beneath it. Clicking on a button reveals a description of what your Lean experience looks like at that level.
Not sure where you fit in? Take our quick 4-question quiz (located just below the map) to determine which stage best represents your current knowledge.
Once you’ve identified your place on the learning pathway, simply select the appropriate slide, and the most relevant learning resources will appear at the bottom of the page—helping you take the next step in your Lean journey with LCI!
Project and Organizational Learning
For Project and Organizational Lean learning, we collaborated with industry practitioners to identify the most commonly used tools at each level.

We’re excited to continue expanding these offerings in the months and years ahead!
Navigating Your Resources
Once you select a tool or method to explore, you’ll gain access to carefully curated resources across four categories: Explore, Learn, Practice, and Enhance—with the last two exclusively available to LCI corporate members.
These resources include blog articles, videos, eLearning courses, webinars, past event presentations, and a variety of other materials from LCI’s extensive library to support your Lean learning journey.
Partner-Level Lean Learning
For those who prefer the classic LCI Lean learning experience, our Partners section provides the industry-specific insights you’re looking for.
On this page, resources are organized by stakeholder, with dedicated sections for Owners, A/E (Architects & Engineers), Constructors, and Trade Partners—each containing the most relevant tools and learning materials tailored to their specific roles in the industry.
