About the Speaker
Tammy McConaughy currently serves as the Director, Education & Certification at LCI, bringing 17+ years and a wealth of experience in Lean methodologies to the position. She has achieved a Six Sigma Black Belt and been actively involved in the construction industry since 2003. Over the course of her career, Tammy has been pivotal in introducing various Lean techniques including Target Value Delivery, Integrated Project Delivery, and the Last Planner System® to her project teams. She is dedicated to grounding these techniques in Lean principles and cultivating a Lean culture within various organizations.
Mattie Gagnon is the Manager, Education & Certification at LCI, spearheading the advancement of the LCI-CPC and LCI-CPD certification programs. She also supports the development and improvement of major LCI educational initiatives, Kaizen events, and retrospectives of education materials. Mattie’s Lean journey began at the AEC firm CRB, where she worked for more than 5 years. During her time at CRB, she completed and graduated from their prestigious Lean Champions program. Mattie has advanced Spanish-speaking skills and previously served as a private English tutor in Santiago, Chile. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
