A Note from Denise Erminger, Manager, CoP Relations
As we ring in the New Year, I reflect on all that the Communities of Practice (CoP) achieved in 2024, both individually and collectively in support of LCI’s mission – “To lead the building industry in transforming its practices and culture”.
For the first time in several years, the CoPs experienced a notable 17% increase in overall annual participation in 2024. Together CoPs provided 239 event offerings throughout the network. It takes an incredible number of industry leaders giving of their time and talents to plan and bring these events to completion. The joy of my role is working with all of our CoP leaders and core group members. Thank you for your commitment to your CoP and by extension, LCI. You exemplify leadership through your dedication.
I am excited to welcome all returning and new core group members of our CoP organization for 2025! Supporting me in providing direction for our CoPs is the National Practice Team Core Group. Many thanks to John Zachara (Integrated Facilities Solutions, Inc.), Leader, Tom Weathers (RNGD), Vice Leader, Dave Hagan (Devenney Group), Member, Darlene Cadman (Weft Strategies), Member, and Angela Bowman (The Boldt Company) Leader Emeritus.
Wishing you all happiness, good health and prosperity in 2025!
